November 5 is Election Day in the United States. With the unknowns and the anxieties this day can bring, you may be seeking a place to be grounded and to find refuge. The church sanctuary will be open beginning at 8:30 a.m. for you to pray or reflect in silence. The building will close at 8:30 p.m. If you come during preschool hours, 9:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. and find the doors locked, please ring the doorbell to be let in. Please use the doors closest to the front entry to enter and exit the sanctuary as the east doors into the sanctuary may be closed off due to the kitchen project. This is a nonpartisan event and is a chance to pray for our country, ourselves, our neighbors, and welcome God’s calming faithfulness. Click here to see a document with scriptures, prayers, and prayer prompts. Hard copies will be available at the entrance to the sanctuary along with a prayer station. Come and pray, come and be still, come and find peace for a little while in our sanctuary.
