Programs for All Ages
We believe that each of us is made in the image of God-unique, beautiful, and loved beyond measure. Growing deeper in the knowledge of Jesus and iin relationship with him is a lifelong journey. We begin the journey at birth and continue throughout our lives increasing our understanding of what it means to be a follower of Jesus. Both the knowledge of Jesus and our relationship with him is nurtured in our homes and within the family of faith at church.
We believe that we are called to do life together-reading God’s word, praying together, serving together, playing together and even joining together for meals. Life is meant to be lived inter-generationally where each of us, young and old alike, interact with each other.
We believe that kids become worshipping people by being with us during Sunday worship; we joyfully welcome their presence and their voices with us. We provide interactive materials for kids kindergarten through 5th grade. Nursery care is available for children 4 and under.
We know it is hard to know where to start talking about faith as a family; pick up a carefully curated DIY faith at home box and discover as a family what it means to follow Jesus in everyday life.
We have programs for kids, youth and adults.
Family Events
We have fun as a community at regular events like our Easter Egg Hunt, Splish Splash Party, Christmas Tree Lighting that bring us together to play, eat, laugh and make memories. Click here to read about upcoming events.
Childcare Available on Sundays
We offer childcare for children pre-k and under during worship each Sunday in a clean, welcoming environment staffed by vetted and loving volunteers/staff. Children will enjoy developmentally play based curriculum which includes songs and stories.
Second Sunday
Kids are excused from worship the second Sunday of each month at 10:45 AM to gather for 45 minutes of faith exploration, food, fun and fellowship. The morning is led by trained, loving leaders who are committed to creating a safe, inclusive, nurturing environment for kids. Grown-ups may enjoy time connecting in coffee hour before picking up kids in room 16 at 11:30 AM.
Faith at Home Boxes
We know that a child’s faith is formed at home but it may be hard to know where to begin. Pick up a Faith at Home box where we have curated fun, experiential ways to explore faith at home as a family. Boxes are available outside the sanctuary or in our church office.
Kids & Teens Drama & Music
Our kids’ choir and drama programs begin at age four and develop community through acting and choral singing in joyful, inclusive environments. Working together participants develop musicianship and friendship. Our choirs and actors share their music and drama within the church and our community. Teens
We believe that God is at work in the lives of our teens and walk alongside them as they continue to discover what it means to have a lifelong relationship with Jesus-a relationship that is their own and through which they know that they have an identity and a purpose in God’s unfolding story of love and grace.
We know that teens have busy lives and juggle many responsibilities, so we offer opportunities for them to connect with one another in meaningful ways that fit into their lives. Opportunities like second Sunday breakfasts where they can dive deep into what it means to follow Jesus, on mission trips where they can discover what it means to follow Jesus in places of great need and in times of just plain fun where they can experience that we were created for joy.
We welcome teens to worship with each other and their families as part of our intergenerational Sunday experience and we give them opportunities to lead us in worship.

Adults
We cultivate thoughtful, reflective faith through regular engagement with the Bible and offer a variety of small group opportunities where adults can create community, share conversations about faith and do life together. From knitting together to talking about books, to laughing together at a murder-mystery party to sharing gardening tips, we are a congregation who enjoys one another.
Care
We are here to walk beside you through life transitions- times of joy, moments of grief, or any situation you may be experiencing; life is not meant to be done alone but rather in a community of people drawn together by the love of Jesus. If you or someone you care about would benefit from prayer, a confidential conversation, a visit, communion, even a ride to church, contact us at info@valleycommunity.org.
Prayer Shawls
Valley’s Prayer Shawl Ministry creates beautiful shawls made by members as a gift of love to the recipient. The shawl is meant to symbolize the love and embrace of God. Each shawl has been lovingly made and prayed over, and those who receive the shawls continue to be held in prayer. If you know someone who could benefit from a prayer shawl, or if you would like to partner with us and volunteer to make prayer shawls, please contact us.
